During the Virtual Global Cement Quality Control Seminar 2020, we had the opportunity to present how automated sample preparation and automated test methods on the example of the ToniPERM II can optimize the mill efficiency control. Thus, remarkable savings in energy in a cement plant are achieved.

Reducing final costs in cement production as well as maintaining the quality of the product are some of the main responsibilities for a laboratory manager. Thus, the ideal to have proper instruments to determine the specific surface of cement is a must to complete these two requirements in the daily laboratory work.

After a short introduction of our company, we go deeper into the importance of how automated test systems impact the quality of the sample. We demonstrate benefits by showing the relations between strength – Blaine – Mill output efficiency.

Graphics and tables at the end of the video prove the reduction of the standard deviation with the precision and accuracy of an automated instrument such as the ToniPERM II.

Navin Beckmann, our sales representative for the English market, will take you through this journey.

Enjoy it.
