The compressive strength of bricks indicates how resistant they are to compressive forces. If the compressive stress exceeds the compressive strength of the brick, it is destroyed. The bricks are classified in strength classes 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 20, 28, 36, 48 and 60 according to their determined compressive strength.

The compressive strength of bricks can be determined in laboratories according to standardized test procedures with our compression testing machines.
